Ok, Ok, Yes, OK ...I ADMIT it ... Hello, Hi, ... Hello, very nice to meet you, my name is Amanda Tease, and I LOVE SHOES!! I love them, I love them, I love them! I do! And anyone who knows me knows that I love shoes! I like unique shoes. I like shoes that make a statement, shoes that stand out in a crowd. There have been countless times that a complete stranger will stop me and comment on my shoes. I have been in a restaurant and the manager will introduce my shoes to the wait staff. I am not kidding you! I love it! There is something about how a shoe, a single pair of shoes,and how they can make you feel. There is some truth to "feeling like you are Cinderella".
I have decided that I love shoes so much, that I want to create my own shoe line. I have been doing some research on it lately, you know in between working an 8 to 5 job, being a wife, raising a toddler, and oh yeah, that's right, I am also working on writing a Novel! So in my spare time? Ha! Yeah right, what is that?! So back to the research. Yes, I have done most of my homework, I know the things I have to do to succeed in this, and the things I have to have ... MONEY & TIME-and lots of it. Isn't that always the case? I have the design ideas, no doubt. Just need to take the time to fly to China/Japan to find a manufacturer! Someone please find me a private jet right away!
Ok, now back to reality and my research. There are some fabulous designers out there and I mean FABULOUS! And most of them have worked hard to get where they are at today. I don't mind working hard. I know that sometimes it takes a lot of sweat and tears to get the end result that you want. And I am ok with that. I have to admit though, the competition out there is quite intimidating. So much so that I have started to second guess myself a little. A little. What can I produce that can compete with the products out there now and will they sell? Well, this gives me my edge and actually have come to realize that it also gives me that much more drive! The drive to out-do my competitiors, offer what they do not. Give my all, my best, because that's all I can do. This of course is not an overnight project, I am saying that over and over again to myself. "This is not an vernight project" But it is a goal that I want to reach, that I want to achieve and that I would like to be successful at one day. Afterall, what good is a dream, if it doesn't come true! Stay tuned ...
